A pair of cute robots star in Valve's team-focused twist on the Portal formula.

The single-player campaign's only twice as long? Jesus, that's crap.

I realise that it's difficult to weave a cogent plot without repeating puzzle-types across a greater length of

time, but I figured on it being three times as long at least.

I finished the first game on first play-through in about four hours.

So, I'm gonna be able to finish this new game in eight or nine hours, am I? It'll last me two days, then.

If this is a £50/$60 release, that's not good enough.

I'm gonna need another reason to buy it.

By which I mean another reason *IN ADDITION TO* the co-op, mode.

I won't always have a second person to play with, which means it doesn't count as core content in my book.

Sounds interesting, I'm looking forward to Portal 2.

Yeah, it's a shame that the single-player content is only going to be twice as long as the first game, but the multi-player material is also this length as well.

I echo the sentiment that I won't always have another person around to co-op with, but unfortunately, we're not representative of the general population in that regard, as multi-player is becoming a very dominant element in games these days. Most people will have other people to play through the co-op with, and as such, Valve has essentially doubly doubled their original game (assuming the quality of game-play is the same).

P.S. Wrong section, moving into a more appropriate one.

I've always been here Rob, and by here, I mean on the forums and not on maple, lol.

I see, well based on your claim that this guy is not in the guild, I did some digging...

Firstly, I actually noticed a suspicious link in his post which I quickly nullified, and then used google to help me investigate that link from a safe distance. Here's some of the interesting results...

and then

So then I started to probe around for all sites that link back to that suspicious page:

This is one busy guy, and it seems that our guild website was nothing special. Based on these observations, I am banning the user in question as they are clearly not a mapler from the guild.
