Pay close attention people...
Make sure you're checking the very first post in this thread to keep on top of exactly what the bounds are and who the last person to have guessed is.

Ok, just spelling out exactly what happened. You guessed 38, which was not in the bounds. Therefore, it was as though you never guessed anything at all. This means that Rany made another guess while he was still the last person to have guessed, and therefore his guess of 36 was also disregarded because you can't guess twice in a row.
Moral: If you know that someone has made a guess outside of the bounds, make sure you know that this guess will not count towards anything, and therefore do not take a guess if you are already the last person to have guessed, otherwise many people could've made many guesses here and a lot of them might not get counted.
